Oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS or OMS) is an internationally recognized surgical specialty focussed on surgery of the entire craniomaxillofacial complex which includes the anatomical area of the mouth, jaws, face, and skull.
The Department of OMFS at SSCDS has well equipped modular operation theatres of the highest standard and have excellent facilities for performing wide variety of major surgical procedures in the head and neck region. Our centre attracts not only patients from all over the country, but also eminent surgeons of repute from different parts of the world to perform surgeries and conduct training sessions. Technological advances in the field are also well integrated in training program, thus helping the trainees provide best possible patient care.
OMFS was established with the aim of providing high quality surgical care at affordable cost and is providing surgical care to the community for variety of conditions ranging from Facial Trauma, Tumors and Oral Cancers to Aesthetic procedures and Orthognathic surgeries
